Internet, the first thing that comes to our mind when anyone talks about the computers. It’s really surprising how Internet can easily find our favorite movie, our beloved music tracks, the notes for a project and almost every detail we need about almost anything in the world. Taking back you to two years ago, when I had completed my 10th grade and was too excited to get a my first mobile phone as we I had a deal with my parents. The circumstances were in my favor, I had scored excellent in my finals and it was time to get the best in return of my hardwork. Actually it wasn’t the hardwork, seriously speaking I had studied very hard in the last 2 months before my exam. Just to let you know, I was one of the most naughtiest students in my school and used to be in the blacklist always.
What I Really Wanted In My Mobile Phone ?
It was a very tough decision, and supported by my brother I finally got a Nokia 6700s as my first smartphone. Quickly talking about it, it’s a symbian slider phone with 5MP rear cam and 1.2MP front-facing cam. It supports 3G and GPRS connectivity. That’s what I wanted in my phone, a good camera and GPRS through which I could complete my petty tasks like downloading songs, mobile movies, play games, find some tricks about my phone and catch up with my social networks.
What All Stuff I Did With Internet On my Phone ?
As time passed by, Internet on my device seemed to be a daily companion for me. And it wasn’t just an addiction but it also made me busy when I was actually free. I usually subscribed to my favorite blogs to get daily updates from them which helped me a lot to learn about. I used to download movies and songs through
UCWeb and Bolt, two of the most best browsers which I’ve came across till now. I even used
SymTorrent which proved to be one of the great torrent downloaders for mobile devices. I’m not that amid gamer when it comes to mobile (Nokia 6700s) but still I used to look out for new games on the
Ovi Store when I used to become a victim of boredom.
I Loved the Way I MultiTasked !
Installing new themes, watching exciting videos and trying out new apps became my daily activities. In those times, I would look out for any trick about mobiles which I could try on my phone to learn something new like GPRS tricks, running expired softwares, free calling etc. Chatting with my friends via
Nimbuzz and WhatsApp became so easy that I never felt that I was so away from a friend who is in any other country or who is on holidays somewhere. I preferred social networking through desktops or laptops, but with softwares like
Gravity and Socially, the beautiful UI and the features felt very native when using them on my mobile. Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare i've all on the go!
How Mobile Internet Pushed Me Into Blogging ?
Eventually, I started trying out new things on my mobile, like researching for anything I liked, anything which is going to release, rumors, the craze to know about grew very much in me. Technology was one thing to which I was seriously attracted when i started surfing Internet. Then I came to know about blogging, I loved to share my knowledge and help people with the things they couldn’t do. I had made up my mind and started and deleted some 2-3 blogs. Even
Active Notes was a great app to note down my ideas before writing an article on my blog which made it easier for me to produce a quality article. Internet allowed me to check my daily traffic to my blog and reply to the comments on the blog at the instant itself.
Final Words I would Like To Say.
There's nothing better than this, Internet is Fun while you're using it on mobile. It feels like thw whole world is in your pockets. In this way i evolved into a geek who is now a full time Internet user and loves to play with mobile internet. It's even more better rather than desktops i would say on certain occasions. The recent survey also says that 59% of the people in India prefer mobile internet over PC's. I hope you enjoyed reading my article, sorry for writing it too long.
