Google Plus Introduces Verified Accounts, Zuckerberg Got His Too!

Around 2 months since the launch of the new social network by Google, that is Google+ has got more than 25M users in this short period of time. It was heard that Google+ will be introducing verified accounts soon by verifying celebrities around the world. I was too eager to follow my interests here so randomly checking names of my favourites, firstly i found a 'tick' symbol on the right of Paris Hilton's name. When i dragged my mouse over it, it showed a message saying " verified name ". So i got to know that they have finally copied twitter and launched their verified accounts too.

They haven't set any official criteria for what constitutes a 'celebrity status' to be recognised as a verified account but as for example CEO of Facebook has around 470383 circle additions and still counting which makes him verified itself. So more the circle additions more the chances of being verified!

Mark Zuckerburg Vs Larry Page

On comparing the two heavy weights of the current technology world, The CEO of Facebook and Co-Founder of Google, Zuckerburg has around 470383 circle additions while Larry Page has 279436 and both are still counting., Which clearly shows that Mark Zuckerburg is far more ahead than Larry on his own Social network.
