The Legend Steve Jobs Resigns As CEO Of Apple

This mornings's most flashing news,  legendary Steve Jobs the CEO of Apple Inc. has declared his resignation. Yes the mind behind the iPhone, iPad and other products which turned apple into world's one of the most powerful companies has decided to resign as the CEO. He announced his resignation this afternoon in his letter to the Apple's board of directors, saying that ' he is no longer able to fulfill his duties ' and he strongly recommends Tim Cook, the Chief Operating Manager to replace him.

The local news channels say that, Apple announced that board has elected Tim Cook as the new CEO and Steve Jobs has been elected as the Chairman of the board to which Tim Cook will be joining. The Wall Street Journal reports considered Cook as the leading candidate succeed Mr. Jobs, who had been on a medical leave since January, but Jobs did appear at the iPad 2 launch in March and the WWDC 2011 in June too.


Letter From Steve Jobs,

To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community:
"I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.
"I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.
"As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.
"I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.
"I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.
Steve" .
