Kobo has recently updated it's series of EReaders by adding Kobo Glo, Kobo Mimi and the Kobo Arc just some hours before the Amazon's big reveal. Kobo has never been in the news when we talk about the E-book readers like the Amazon, Nokia or Barnes. But with these new 3 Kobo EReaders, today we can see it building reputation if Amazon fails at it's event where it's expected to launch 2 new Kindle fire tablets and also a smartphone, maybe.
Kobo Glo : It comes with an innovative soft, even and adjustable ComfortLight technology so that you can read regardless of the time of the day or night. It has a durable screen and customizable page-turning features, relying on E Ink technology, customizable fonts and a no-glare XGA high-resolution 6″ E Ink display. It comes with 2GB of internal storage which is expandable using the micro SD card and it also has WI-fi connectivity. It comes in Black, White, Pink Sunset, Blue Moon, or Silver Star shades and will be available from 1st October for $129.99.
Kobo Mini : Kobo Mini is the world’s smallest and lightest eReader. A 5-inch, 134g phablet which can easily fit into your pockets. Having an E Ink display, the Kobo Mini will carry all the familiar features that Kobo customers have come to know, ranging from internal memory that can hold up to 1,000 eBooks thanks to 2GB of internal memory, an unmatched E Ink touch screen display, one month battery life, and customizable font options amongst others. Kobo Arc : A 7-inch, 364g tablet running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a 2MP front camera and confirmed for sale 'in time for Christmas', the Arc features a color touchscreen and access to any app from Google Play. For now it operates over WiFi only, though a 3G version could follow. A 1.6GHz dual core processor is on board, as well as a battery that's rated to do for ten hours of reading, or ten hours of video playback with WiFi switched off.
